During Sitecore 9.1 Installation, we have experienced below error-

Solution

  1. Close all open document
  2. Open Powershell ISE Admin
  3. Uninstall-Package SitecoreInstallFramework
  4. Go to C:\Program Files\WindowsPowerShell\Modules
  5. Delete SitecoreInstallFramework Folder if available.
  6. Download and Unzip “SitecoreInstallFramework.zip”
  7. Copy Paste SitecoreInstallFramework Folder into C:\Program Files\WindowsPowerShell\Modules
  8. Open Manage User Certificate console click on start button and search Manage User Certificate
  9. Go to Personal > Certificates and Remove DO_NOT_TRUST_SitecoreRootCert
  10. Go To > Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates > Remove DO_NOT_TRUST_SitecoreRootCert (if more then one available then remove all)
  11. Go To > Intermediate Certification Authorities > Certificates > Remove DO_NOT_TRUST_SitecoreRootCert (if more then one available then remove all)
  12. Go To > Third-Party Root Certification Authorities > Certificates > Remove DO_NOT_TRUST_SitecoreRootCert (if more then one available then remove all)
  13. Restart PC
  14. Install Sitecore Again
