QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our web and enterprise applications. You will work closely with our development team to validate RESTful APIs, manage CMS-driven content testing, and conduct comprehensive cross-browser and accessibility audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Testing: Execute end-to-end manual testing, including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and Functional testing.
• API Validation: Test backend services and RESTful APIs to ensure data integrity and performance.
• CMS Testing: Validate content publishing workflows and frontend rendering within CMS environments.
• Performance & Accessibility: Conduct PageSpeed audits and ensure applications meet web accessibility standards.
• Cross-Browser Testing: Use tools like BrowserStack to ensure a seamless user experience across different devices and browsers.
• AI-Assisted Testing: Leverage AI tools to optimize test case generation, bug detection, and documentation.
• Collaboration: Work alongside frontend, backend (Node.js), and DevOps teams to identify bottlenecks and maintain high-quality deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in Manual Testing.
• CMS Knowledge: Hands-on experience testing within a Content Management System (CMS) framework.
• Tooling: Proficiency with BrowserStack for cross-browser/mobile testing.
• Web Standards: Strong understanding of Accessibility Testing and PageSpeed optimization metrics.
• Testing Lifecycle: Deep knowledge of the SDLC and STLC, specifically in an Agile environment.
• AI Proficiency: Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or specialized testing agents) to enhance testing efficiency.

Nice to Have

• Automation: Experience or basic knowledge of automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium).
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of JavaScript or Node.js to assist in debugging.
